Almost got scammed

Few days ago, I got a message from a very known agency I’ve worked with multiple times. I completed and shared the deliverables on time. A few days later, they suddenly asked me to share my ad code. The issue? Ad rights were never mentioned in the deliverables. I even had screenshots of the original form and chats. The form I filled was for a hair care product, but later they switched it to sunscreen, which I had no issue with. In the end, they even sent an extra complimentary product. When I refused to share the ad code without payment, the POC kept forcing me and offered just ₹300 “from her side” for ad rights. I declined because that’s unfairly low. Then she claimed I probably forgot to check the form because “ad rights were mentioned.” Later, she literally edited the same form and sent it back to me as proof. That honestly shocked me. I shared my commercial rates, but she said the brand wouldn’t accept them which, as someone who has worked with many brands and as a POC myself, clearly felt untrue. What upset me the most is how many creators are being manipulated into giving away ad rights for free. Please read deliverables carefully and always keep screenshots.
